Norman Malware Cleaner 2.07

Norman Malware Cleaner is one of the new apps in the security software industry, promising to keep computers around the world away from malware and other dangerous files that could compromise user's safety.

Although it comes packed as an over 130 MB file, Norman Malware Cleaner has adopted a different approach.

This software doesn't have an installer, since viruses are now attempting to block installation of antiviruses and security tools, so it's being delivered as an executable file, which means you only need to double click the file to launch the app.

The interface is pretty basic and that's a very good thing, since the purpose of the whole software is to find and delete infections.

There are four scanning modes, quick, normal, full and custom, so choose the one that fits you best. Of course, the full mode will need much more time, while the quick one is better for a quick analysis of the computer.

During our testing, scanning the computer in quick mode took around 2 minutes, while the full option needed around 20 minutes to complete. Still, the latter was a bit more efficient as it checked every single file on the computer for malicious data.

There are multiple options available in the dedicated tab, giving you the power to enable verbose logging, quarantine, archive unpacking, memory scanning, FakeAV scanning, rootkit cleaning, multithreading, detection of potentially unwanted programs and Sandbox.

The Quarantine tab provides a quick look over the suspicious files detected by Norman Malware Cleaner, with dedicated tools to restore or delete the files permanently at the bottom of the main window.

Norman Malware Cleaner is no replacement for a fully fledged antivirus, but if cleaning your computer of infected files wasn't possible with the existing tools, this one is really worth a chance.

Apple iTunes 11.0.1.12 latest version for Windows

Take a look at the right side of the podcasts page on the iTunes Store. The Top Charts column displays the top 10 episodes and top 10 podcasts based on a combination of recent subscriptions, downloads and customer reviews. By clicking on the “See All” option at the top of each chart, the entire list of top 200 podcasts or episodes is displayed. You can even filter the results to display only audio or video by clicking on the buttons located at the top of each chart. And if you want to see the most popular podcasts by subject, simply navigate to the desired category from the Podcast dropdown menu along the top bar of the iTunes Store and repeat the above process. Continue to dig deeper by clicking on sub-categories located in the bottom left-hand corner of each category page!

Find more from your favorites.

If you find a podcast provider that you like, there’s an easy way for you to find other podcasts they have created. Just mouse over the provider’s name and, if that provider has created more than one podcast, you’ll find a link that will whisk you off to a page filled with their podcasts.

Playing Podcasts

Listen up.

iTunes provides you with flexible options for enjoying your podcasts. For instant gratification, you can stream podcasts directly in the iTunes Store by double-clicking on an episode. Or you may choose to download an episode to enjoy on any of your Apple platforms simply by clicking on the “Free” button associated with that episode. Like what you hear and want more? Then subscribe to the podcast by clicking on the “Subscribe Free” button and automatically download future episodes.

Get caught speeding.

If you find you understand spoken audio content at a faster playback rate, it’s easy to speed things up on your iPad, iPhone or iPod. Simply click on the blue playback speed selector just below the play button in the upper right corner.

Watch the way you want.

When streaming a video podcast, playback starts in a secondary pop-up window within the iTunes Store. Clicking anywhere in the store outside of the pop-up window will stop playback. To view a downloaded video podcast, click on Podcasts underneath the Library subheading on the left side of the jukebox window and double-click on your desired podcast. The selected video podcast will automatically begin playing in the jukebox window. You can play video back in full-screen mode by clicking the “Fullscreen” button at the bottom of the player (indicated by two diverging arrows).

Save it for later.

If you can’t finish a podcast in one sitting, never fear. You can always pause playback in either iTunes or on your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Apple TV and resume playback later from the point you left off. Listen to the first half of a podcast on your way to work, and on your way home, pick up right where you left it.
By default, podcast files are set so that iTunes and all Apple hardware platforms will remember playback position. You can turn the feature off by clicking on a podcast file, choosing “Get Info” from the contextual menu, and unchecking “Remember Playback Position.” You can even turn the same option on for non-podcast files, letting you resume playback on any track in your library.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 2012 Andriod

Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is headed to iOS and Android. The game will be playable on "a wide range of iOS and Android devices" later this fall and comes as part of Vice City’s 10th anniversary celebration this month.
According to Rockstar, Vice City "brings the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms." Rockstar promises that additional 10th anniversary celebrations will follow, including a new trailer, never-before-seen artwork and "a limited run of collectible promotional items" on the Rockstar Games Warehouse.
"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City gave players the freedom of a massive open world in one of the most iconic and vibrant settings ever realized in a game," said Rockstar founder Sam Houser. "It was a defining moment in the series and we're delighted to be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with a stunning, updated version for phones and tablets."
The announcement echoes last year’s iOS release of Grand Theft Auto III and comes just days before October 29th, which will mark exactly 10 years since Vice City’s 2002 debut on PlayStation 2. Earlier this year, Vice City was also rated for PlayStation 3, though that version has yet to materialize.
We’ll have more info on Vice City for you soon, but until then, read our original review of Vice City and be sure to check out The History of Grand Theft Auto.

Batman: Arkham City pc

Batman: Arkham City. Let me start by saying that the precursor to Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Asylum, is one of the best games I’ve ever played. And I’ve played a lot of games.
So, when the sequel was announced, I was both excited and worried. How could developer Rocksteady top what they’ve already created? Well, in some ways they have, but a lot has been sacrificed.
Here’s the basics. You play as millionaire Bruce Wayne. In the previous game, you helped to contain various villains that were trying to escape from the insane asylum in Gotham City (called Arkham Asylum). Well, things have gone south. A section of Gotham City has been walled off and used as a holding place for both the mentally deranged and the criminally dangerous. My first big question is WHY? We are thrown into the game with very little information about why they would create this. Let’s just let the world’s most dangerous people hang out and come up with diabolical plans. To top it off, acclaimed supervillain Hugo Strange has been put in charge. WHAT? It doesn’t make sense but let’s roll with it.
Bruce Wayne comes out and says “This is a horrible idea!” but is promptly arrested and thrown into “Arkham City” by Hugo Strange. He manages to get his Batman gear sent to him and then begins working on cleaning up the city and containing all of these villains.
So what works?
In terms of gameplay, Arkham City is a great game. The combat is fast and fluid and it’s easy to manage a battle against 20 thugs. You truly feel like Batman. When you’re able to escape to the shadows, you’re also given a huge array of weapons and gadgets you can use both in and out of battle. These options give you a thousand different ways to handle stealth missions. You’re faced with a room of 10 thugs with machine guns. If they spot you, you’re swiss cheese. Maybe you decide to dive down from overhead. Maybe you decide to crawl under them through the grates. Maybe you decide to throw out a decoy, wait for everyone to gather around it, and then swoop in. You can use freeze bombs to incapacitate, your batclaw to rip their weapons from their hands, and a remote controlled baterang to knock them unconscious. Each new room is a whole new set of choices and it’s absolutely thrilling.

Google Earth latest version

The latest version of Google Earth continues to set the mapping paradigm. Accessible enough for casual users, Google has added features that make it a necessity for those whose topographic desires are more serious. Although Google Ocean is the big newsmaker in version 5, you can also check out the surface of our nearest neighbor, Mars, as well as incorporating historical Earth maps.
If you'll forgive the pun, the oceanic maps are pretty cool. They provide the capability to plunge to the floor of the sea, view exclusive content from the BBC and National Geographic, and explore shipwrecks like the Titanic in 3D. Exploring the Martian surface is limited to data provided from NASA, but that's not much of a limitation considering that it's unlikely that most of us will ever get to visit the Red Planet. Switching between Google Earth, Sky, and Mars can be done from the menubar or from the planet icon on the toolbar.
Most of the interface's real estate displays a rendering of the globe, which can zoom in on a satellite image of your destination once you've keyed it in. Controls live on a top toolbar and a left-side navigation window that lets you quickly jump between different views and locations. Google's Street View, real-time illumination of the Earth, roads, restaurants, and even crime statistics can be displayed. Smooth integration with Google's 3D rendering program SketchUp means that you can design buildings and see how they'd interact with their surroundings on the fly.
The only downside to the program is that it can consume a large amount of RAM, so older machines might experience performance issues, but even that can now be configured through the Options menu. Everyone else is bound to love Google Earth, both as an entertaining novelty and an informational tool
